His father, Elder T.E Oyakhilome, was one of the first leaders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. His firstborn son, pastor Chris was certainly influenced by his father. Growing up in a home which is committed to a pure Christian message is truly a blessing.

He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council.

Katty Worghiren is Pastor Chris's sister. She is the director of the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry. Katty Worghiren was a first singer in the choir. Her songwriting abilities have earned her the status of one of the most adored LoveWorld singers. She composed the national anthem "I Believe in Nigeria".
